Update 24/02/2006 - All our auction items have been sold so we are now in a position to announce our final total of 2106 pounds! We will present a cheque for £702 to each of our charities over the coming weeks. Thanks to everyone who has helped out, we could not have done it without all the kind donations of money and time that so many people have made. The hosting agreement for this site will end next week so we will be offline for a short time. We hope to be back online soon using a free hosting service but just in case we never come back - thanks again and goodbye!
04/01/2006 - Our remaining donated items are now on ebay and available to purchase via our auctions page.
22/12/2005 - We're finally starting to get things in order and we should be able to present cheques to our charities early in the new year. Thanks again to everyone who has donated and helped us to raise over £2000! We're still more than happy to accept any further last minute donations and we still have items available to purchase via our auctions. Please help if you can!

The ground pictures are finally online and can be accessed via 'The Grounds' section, sorry it's taken a while - hope everyone is happy with their photos! Also added some 'diary' type entries to each of 'The Route' pages that outline what happened on each day.
In addition to all that have we've also updated entire site to reflect the fact that the tour is over, everything should now be in the correct tense! Please note that we are still accepting donations and it is still possible to 'Sponsor A Ground' retrospectively. Also added an auction section where we'll be auctioning off the memoribilia and merchandise we collected on the tour.
21/06/2005 - We arrived home from the tour on Sunday (19/06/2005) it was extremely hard work but we managed to achieve our target of 158 grounds in a (decimal) week. We're sorting out all the photos at the moment and they should start appearing online from the end of this week. We've been trying to collect items of memorabilia/signed items from each of the grounds we visited and we intend to auction these off via ebay during July/August/September so stay tuned for more news and please feel free to carry on donating!
10/06/2005 - It begins ! The tour finally got under way today and although we're a little tired after 14+ hours of driving we've had a good day and are looking forward to completing the rest of the tour. N.B. As we are now on the road we can not guarantee that any new ground sponsors will have their messages displayed outside the ground of their choice. If you are keen to see your message displayed then you stand a greater chance if you sponsor a ground that we will be visiting later in the tour (the ETA for each ground is displayed on the ground info page).
26/04/2005 - We are still trying to get businesses (local or otherwise) to sponsor our travel and accommodation costs, if you know of anyone who could help please get in touch. We've also added some Google backed advertising to each of the ground pages. We potentially receive money every time somebody clicks an ad and any money raised will go towards our petrol/travel costs. So if you can, please support our sponsors !
23/04/2005 - We appeared on Stuart Haycock's Signal Radio (96.9 FM) show this afternoon, thanks very much to Stuart for giving us the time on air. The ground sponsorships are still going well, thanks to everyone who has sponsored a ground since the last update.
09/04/2005 - A good day for sponsorship, we took a number of donations at the Stafford Rangers game today, thanks to everyone who helped out. There are still many grounds to sponsor though, so if you can help, please do.
08/04/2005 - We're on page 12 of todays 'Express and Star' and we're on the back page of this weeks 'Stafford Newsletter'. Thanks to Dave of Dave's Diner for provding the free tea after our 'Express and Star' photoshoot!
05/04/2005 - Added a new section, 'The Route' which details the full itinerary for the tour. Also added ETAs to all the ground pages. A steady stream of sponsorships have been coming in over the past few weeks, thanks to everyone who has helped out.
31/03/2005 - Our first press coverage! We're on page 20 of this weeks 'Stafford Post'. The picture makes us both look a bit funny and they've printed the wrong address for the website, but apart from that it's all good. We should hopefully also be appearing in the 'Stafford Newsletter' and 'Express and Star' over the next few weeks.
21/03/2005 - Fixed some typos and added some extra information. We have received our first two ground sponsors! Many thanks to the generous people involved.
12/03/2005 - Site launched.
